Terms and Conditions

 

1. The minimum rental period is five (5) days. Your reservation will be confirmed and secured after receipt of a non-refundable deposit of N$ 2000.00 per credit card transfer. All rentals are calculated on a 24-hour basis with a 2 hour grace period on the day of return.

2. Any cross border rental must be arranged with Value Car & 4x4 Rental Namibia prior to departure.

3. The minimum age for drivers is 23 and they must be in possession of a valid driving license for 2 years at least. Valid driving licenses are: An international driving license, a European Community driving license, a national driving license in English, any non-English driving license with a certified translation in English.

4. Charges for delivering cars to, and collecting from, other locations than Windhoek are available on request.

5. The excess amount must be secured by credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, and Diners Club (no Amex).

6. Not included in any insurance are: Damage to, or loss of, personal belongings, tyre damages, damages to the undercarriage of the vehicle except in case of a traffic accident, windscreen and glass damages, personal injuries or death, sandblast and water damages.

Value Car Rental recommends its clients to insure themselves against medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of luggage.

7. In case of a traffic accident the liability of the driver / renter is limited to the excess amount unless one of the following factors applies:

All vehicles are insured against theft on condition that the driver / renter returns the ignition key + gear lock key.

8. All vehicles are backed up by a 48-hour breakdown and service assistance. In case of a mechanical breakdown Value Car Rental will assist you within 48 hours directly or through a local workshop. When a vehicle becomes immobilized due to a manufacturing fault, Value Car Rental will recover and replace the vehicle with no cost for the client.
